Real-Time Benzene Monitor
Designed for MGP or BTEX-contaminated (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes) sites, the Greenlight System benzene monitor first measures perimeter TVOC levels utilizing PID technology. After a site-specific TVOC alarm level is triggered, an automatic initiation of real time benzene measurements is reported to the system base server and a laboratory sample is started lasting 15 minutes.
The Greenlight Benzene Monitor (BTEX detection with benzene speciation)
- acquires real-time readings and separate analytical samples upon a triggering event
- runs on DC power
- requires no air conditioning or heat
- costs a tenth of gas chromatography
- it is the size of a shoebox
The user-friendly design and instructional LEDs allow field functionality while the base server displays real time TVOC and benzene measurements over a 15 minute rolling TWA (time weighted average). Lab sample volumes are automatically calculated and relayed back to the end user so that calibration and intense user input is not needed.
