Environmental Monitoring Needs
Plant turnarounds are planned shutdowns and extended maintenance periods of major industrial, chemical, refining, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other manufacturing operations. This planned closure and reopening can create many potential hazards and exposures not typically found during normal plant operation. In additional, existing environmental monitoring systems are typically turned off as production equipment is shut down.
