Construction & Demolition
Environmental Monitoring Needs
The construction process is dirty and noisy. Even for short projects, there is health risk for the on-site workers and surrounding community as the construction process can generate a significant level of environmental health concerns.
Today, both private and public construction projects (buildings, highways, bridges, tunnels, industrial plants, transportation centers, etc.) are required to address the environmental impact as part of a regulatory mandate or project requirement. One such regulation is Environmental Performance Requirements (EPCs) mandated by government agencies which require action to reduce air pollution, reduce noise, reduce vibration, and control contaminants that may be produced and could travel beyond the perimeter of this worksite.
Greenlight Solution
As a modular and scalable system, the Greenlight System is a cost-effective solution that provides both real-time and archival data to support the controls required for EPCs. The Greenlight System can also provide the necessary oversight for other regulatory requirements, such as Community Air Monitoring Plans (CAMP).
As the standard of care in managing pollution and vibration at construction sites becomes more common, the Greenlight System can provide timely, continuous site data to satisfy staff, regulators and the public.
